Parasite Prevention

Parasite prevention is super important for cats and dogs. These gross critters are more than annoying—they can cause serious damage! At Lyons Veterinary Hospital, we believe prevention is always the best treatment. We recommend annual heartworm and tick testing, as well as fecal testing, which screens for intestinal parasites. We carry many different types of flea, tick, and heartworm preventives, and many of them also prevent some intestinal worms.
