Dr. Meg Radford

Dr. Meg is a New Jersey local who grew up in Morristown and achieved her childhood dream when she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine, in 2017. She is excited to join the team at Lyons Vet and bring greater focus on preventative medicine – keeping pets healthy to avoid frequent sick visits for preventable disease. She is currently enrolled at Chi University and expects to achieve her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture by 2027. She is assured that by adding acupuncture to her skill set, she will be able to provide more options to maximize her patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Meg has two cats and lives with her partner, Tal, who sometimes joins her in performing with her parents in their academic rock band called The Professors (find them on Spotify or at theprofessors.net ). In her free time as an undergraduate at Rutgers University, Dr. Meg applied her love of music to animal research and studied music’s effect on the behavior of Alpine goats as part of the G. H. Cook Scholars Program. Dr. Meg also finds great joy in crafting – rotating through crochet, knitting, cross-stitching, embroidery, sewing, and diamond painting. When she is not crafting, you might find her puzzling, playing games,
or dressing up to go dancing! Yes, she even makes her own accessories. She has also been active in donating her crafts throughout the years to raise funds or provide support to those going through difficult times.
